About Mary
I am blessed to live at the coast in the North East of England. I enjoy experimenting with colour and texture. I like painting images of being, togetherness, fun, light, opportunities, hope, love, freedom. These values have been the Catalyst for paintings of waves, sunrises, surfing, sea swimming, doors, bikes, cups of coffee, fields and wind turbines.

​Mary’s painting evokes the sensation of swimming in the sea. The brushwork captures the movement of water as if you are gliding through it and the vibrant colours reflect the different depths of the sea. This picture brings me great joy every time a look at it in my living room.
